The Gear-Off

a gear-off is where 2 people get together and compare gear.
its a very important an prestigious occasion.
i texted G last weekend with "me. you. 5pm. hotel. gear-off"
the reply i got was not quite suitable for a public blog but it was however very funny.
i cant say i wasnt tempted .... well yes i can!
we did meet up (clothes on) and compared packs.
quite liked the look of his nathan pack though mel seemed to be eyeing off my 6 year old camelbak lobo.
his golite hooded jacket is smaller and maybe a few grams lighter than my montane.
bugger!
but his whistle was absolutely girly.

not much to say in post b2h recovery.
havent run all week.
working a fair bit and just couldnt be arsed.
had a massage and have progressed to the 'inner sanctum' of the pilates room.
did checkpoint duty with tamsin at glasshouse today.
away next weekend at binna burra - will be a practice hiking weekend for overland track in ... 12 days!
